began as a cycling blog - "Discovering America on 2 Wheels" - in Dec 2009. Since then it's become much more. It is an irreverent, humorous and introspective way of sharing my daily lifestyle, interests, opinions and life challenges. It is a Labor of Love that is Raw, Uncut and Real Time straight from my Heart, Mind and Life to You. So I hope you Read, Enjoy and Become Involved in My Discovery and, in so doing, learn more about Yourself, the World Around You and Your Own Path to Discovery!

Hakuna Tabata
As usual....
Nothing the same....
Nothing repeats...
At CrossFit WMD.
Ok.... Maybe the warmup is the same...
For the week...
But what's this?
The strength movement is an Overhead Step Up...
So you have a weighted bar pinned at arms length overhead and you step up on top of a 24" box...
Holy ass busting ball buster WODMan!!!
And then a Tabata....
Named after the guy who created it.
Do as many as you can if each exercise in 20 seconds...
You get 10
Seconds to move to the next exercise....
Do as many as you can....
Repeat....
For 4 rounds...
Then you take the low score of each exercise from the 4 rounds and add that to the low score for the other 3 exercises and that's your total score.
Here's how I scored it...
And yes.... That's a 142# round stone that you lift from the floor and hoist to the top of 1 shoulder for the "F'g Stone" lift.
Final results...
Post workout meal...
Pork Chop, Veggies with Plum, Blueberries and Grapes and garnished with fresh radishes, fine diced Habanero and roasted sunflower seeds...
Followed by music at the WurstHaus....
And a late night snack of Medjool dates, pistachios, cranberry nut and seed mix and fresh blueberries and grapes...
Week is done....
Let's get this weekend going.
