began as a cycling blog - "Discovering America on 2 Wheels" - in Dec 2009. Since then it's become much more. It is an irreverent, humorous and introspective way of sharing my daily lifestyle, interests, opinions and life challenges. It is a Labor of Love that is Raw, Uncut and Real Time straight from my Heart, Mind and Life to You. So I hope you Read, Enjoy and Become Involved in My Discovery and, in so doing, learn more about Yourself, the World Around You and Your Own Path to Discovery!

HOTEL... BART...Walk...Bus... Walk...Bus...BART...Walk...Eat... BART... Hotel!!!
Geez. Just like Friday, I must've walked 8 miles on Saturday with my son.
Took the BART from Pleasant Hill to the Powell Station in downtown San Fran, took a short jaunt into downtown then down Market to Huckleberry Bicycles and then walked down Market to Oak and took Oak all the way into Golden Gate Park, toured the Japanese Tea Garden, then took the SF Muni bus #28 to the GG Bridge, walked all the way across and back GiGi, took the #28 from GG to the BART Daly station and then BART'd back to Powell Station and walked into Chinatown and ate...
Spicy Pork and Veggies incl'g Bok Choy and Chinese Broccoli with Tsing Tao beer - my new all time favorite combo!!!
Then walked back to the BART Powell station and BART to Pleasant Hill station which is catekorner across the street from the Embassy Suites Walnut Creek.
I'm convinced that if you lived and worked in this area, all you wouid need is a Bike, the Bus and the BART!!
Works for me!!!
And stamina. And cash. And a letter of recommendation
