Beach Prep Paleo Style - This is the way A Cave Man rolls Jo Jo!!
Doing my Sunday cooking...
Was talking Paleo cooking and eating with the wonderful lady lead singer of Electric Soul - Jo Jo - last night at the WurstHaus and told her I'd do a show and tell for her....
Starts like this...
All players on deck...
Pork chops in a hot cast iron skillet - 4 mins on a side and 2 mins of steam with the lid on.
Peppers and onions in the cast iron Dutch Oven - NO OIL - there's 2 Poblanos, a jalapeƱo, a Serrano and half a habanero in there - not for the faint of heart- but a lot more will go in to mellow the heat effect - just wait - you'll see...
Note: All veggies are seasoned with salt, pepper, garam masala, turmeric and cumin before cooking!
Flip and another 4....
Throw in the asparagus and Bok Choy stalks...
After 4 mins on the 2nd side on the pork chops,
Add a teaspoon of water and cover for 2 more minutes.
Add the squash and zucchini...
And last, the Bok Choy leaves...
Roll the veggies a couple of times...
And cover for 2 mins...
That's it.... We're done!!!
Plate the 2 chops and a portion of the veggies to eat at the beach!!!
Plenty left over!!!
From removing the veggies from the fridge to putting the cooked products in containers...
19 mins 15 seconds...
And you say you don't have time to cook healthy...
Light meal before the workout which comes before the beach...
Boiled egg, veggies, strawberries, grapes, Creatine and Fresca...
With eggs already boiled and in the fridge....
2 minute meal..
Absolutely love this song!!!
Still haven't killed me yet!!
It's make up day at the gym which means calf raises...
Especially emphasize my weak left calf by isolating with 1-legged calf raises...
Don't see what the hoopla was all about - I like his music...
Facing up to Heavy Deadlifts - max'd at 315 for 3 reps...
Love the movie....
Love the Song...
A flat 170....
Not bad...
Sunday to be continued!
