Another Milestone...
Today marked another fitness milestone.
There's this young guy in Boot Camp - I say Young Guy - he's probably 35 - that's young to me.
Anyway, he runs like a rabbit. Always first in the sprints around the building at Family Fitness...
Which is about 300 - 400 yards.
One of my goals when I started my strict Paleo diet and new M-W-F CrossFit / T - Th Boot Camp workouts a little over 2 months ago, was to one day outrun the Rabbit.
And today, the Rabbit took off, and I went with him...
And outsprinted him to the finish.
Had some really positive feedback from my Beautiful Blond fellow Boot Camper who said I looked Ripped and Awesome.
The Boot Camp Instructor, the 24 year old Young and Ripped Chris, asked how I old I was and marveled when I told him 52.
Another Boot Campee commented how light I was on my feet.
Weighed a dehydrated 168 after last night's marathon CrossFit WOD.
Today after Boot Camp, I weighed an even 170.
The key to being light on your feet is to be...
Light.
You have to pare off the extra pounds.
And the best way to do that is....
The Paleo Diet...
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paleolithic_diet
This evening, having my standard Paleo offering.
Blackened Pork Chop...
Veggies... Sweet Onion, Poblano, Jalapeño and Sweet Mini Peppers, Squash, Zucchini, Asparagus and Garlic...
Garnish....Serrano Pepper and Radish
Added grapes, blueberries and raspberries and a Creatine / Fresca / Wine drink.
This is the Hidden Secret of Fitness...
Get the Diet right and everything else falls in line.
Success and....
Discovery.
