An Unusual but Excellent Outcome at the Breakers Inn

So I'm looking for a place to stay in Gualala...

I did my usual Google search and called a couple  of places and then called the Breakers Inn and talked to Shawna. 

She seemed friendly enough and willing to negotiate a little over the phone so I told her I was just a lowly cyclist who needed a place to rest his weary head and soak his sore knee. 

That got her down from $165 to $135. 

I told her it was 7 pm and I know she didn't want the room to go vacant. 

That got her down to $120. 

I told her my top drive out price was a hundid. 

Then she asked if I had muscles. 

Huh?

I recovered quick and said Yeah - I been riding without a shirt on all day. 

She said come in without a shirt and we'll talk. 

So I did and I ended up in the Mendocino Room with a view of the sunset for $99.90.
