On the Road to Astoria #2 Yes Virginia - That is a Bald Eagle

I seem to be attracting all kinds I'd wildlife on this trip. 

The Bald Eagle was sitting in a bare tree when I first saw it and snapped a couple of pics. 

It then flew out of the tree, over the bay, circles and then landed in a tree 50 yards closer. 

Still too far for the iPhone 4s digital zoom, I zoomed the pics already taken and did screen shots of the zoomed pics to get the close ups. 

It's cheating and loses a lot of resolution but you do what you have to do to get the shot. 

Wow! What a Sight!

I rode by the Eagle and gave it a salute for the show!
