Fast Train down Lincoln Mountain!

Rolled over the top and the race was on....

Got passed by a 30' motor home followed by 3 cars on the 3rd turn and decided to have some fun.

Kicked it into a higher gear and caught up with the Winnie and was drafting off his right rear at 35 mph.

Hit a nice straightaway and kicked it into 3-7. That's 21st gear - top gear - reached up and grabbed the Red Mule by the ears and hollered Giddeeup!

The Big Digs on the back rack started howling and the Red Mule started hee-hawing and I leapt ahead of the Winnie and hit my max speed of 39 mph at 100 cadence - a rotation speed I rarely go.

The Winnie driver must've got his feelings hurt being beat down the mountain by 2 dogs, a mule and an Old Man, so he gunned it and went ahead of me and had to hit the brakes so hard on the next inside turn that he cut me off and I ended up being within kissing distance of his right rear bumper at 35 mph.

All's well that ends well and I was rewarded with views of this beautiful valley at the bottom of the ride off the mountain.

Now see - I told you it would be fun!
