began as a cycling blog - "Discovering America on 2 Wheels" - in Dec 2009. Since then it's become much more. It is an irreverent, humorous and introspective way of sharing my daily lifestyle, interests, opinions and life challenges. It is a Labor of Love that is Raw, Uncut and Real Time straight from my Heart, Mind and Life to You. So I hope you Read, Enjoy and Become Involved in My Discovery and, in so doing, learn more about Yourself, the World Around You and Your Own Path to Discovery!

at Hyde Memorial State Park 8 miles up Nm475 from Santa Fe NM
Got into HMSP late yesterday evening... what a wonderful park setting at 8500' elevation... my campsite has a creek running right along side of it and I'm staying in an Adirondack Shelter that was built in 1938...Hyde Memorial State Park was the first state park built in New Mexico. I'll be staying here again tonight and will be practicing for my assault of the 18 mile stretch of NM 475 from Santa Fe (7200' elevation where it begins as Artist Point Rd) to the Santa Fe Ski Basin which is at 10000'. I'll likely try that tomorrow... Cheerio!
