began as a cycling blog - "Discovering America on 2 Wheels" - in Dec 2009. Since then it's become much more. It is an irreverent, humorous and introspective way of sharing my daily lifestyle, interests, opinions and life challenges. It is a Labor of Love that is Raw, Uncut and Real Time straight from my Heart, Mind and Life to You. So I hope you Read, Enjoy and Become Involved in My Discovery and, in so doing, learn more about Yourself, the World Around You and Your Own Path to Discovery!

12 minute Valentine's Day Lunch
Wanted to fix a nice, nutritious, tasty and pretty meal for my wife and me before we took off for an afternoon at Brazos Bend State Park... didn't have much time so I got the following out of the fridge...Leftover spaghetti, 1 Poblano and 2 jalapeno peppers, 1 sweet onion, 1 carrot, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 link of Holmes Pecan smoked jalapeno sausage... halved the jalapenos and deveined them of white membane and seeds, coarse chopped everything but the garlic... minced it... lightly coated everything w/ olive oil, salt and pepper while I had the trusty cast iron skillet on high heat w/ 1 tbsp of Canola oil...that's the set-up... about 6 minutes...
