Rising Phoenix Adventures Bastrop Tx - Regearing my Trek 1500 with Climbing Gears
In this segment, I brought my Trek 1500 to Rising Phoenix Adventures at 306 Industrial Blvd in Bastrop Tx - (512) 677 2305 - and had the 11-26 cassette changed to an 11-34 cassette to increase the climbing ability.
Rising Phoenix Adventures made all the necessary adjustments to the chain and derailleur to accommodate the bigger gears.
Here's the YouTube video I did on the regear of my Trek 1500 from 11-26 road gears to 11-34 climbing gears.

Ad for Brazosport Bicycle Tour #1
I thought Kay at the Source did an excellent job on the ad. They've always done a great job for me for the last 25 years whether it was advertising for a rental property, a garage sale, a specific item for sale or advertising for Discovering America on 2 Wheels.
Give the Source a call at 979-285-9200 for any advertising need you have.
Check out the ad Kay did for me.... I thought it was really cool!

Brazosport Bicycle Tour #1 Virtual Tour Videos on YouTube
Most of this video was shot with the perspective of someone actually riding on the tour. The videos also provide website links on the tour sites and the city of Lake Jackson Tx and the Brazosport Area.
This tour covers some of the best sites of Natural, Scenic, Historic and Cultural Interest in Lake Jackson Tx and Brazosport.
I've also shot a video for "Rules, Guidelines, Tips and Instructions" for the Bicycle Tours offered by Discovering America on 2 Wheels. While it was shot along the route of the Brazosport Bicycle Tour #1, the information provided should be of help for any DA2W Bicycle Tour Participant on any tour offered by DA2W.
The following is the description and links to the videos.

The Enchanted Oak, the symbol for Lake Jackson Tx, is on this property. The tour continues with a cycle around the Lake Jackson Farms Loop which circles the lake of Lake Jackson and passes the Dow Plantation House before emerging on Highway 332W which leads us shortly to the Gulf Coast Bird Observatory - a 34 acre wooded oasis for birds and bird watchers nestled along the shores of Buffalo Camp Bayou. The GCBO has bird banding on the 3rd Saturday of each month. After a tour of the GCBO site, the tour will take a route through Dunbar Park and along Oyster Creek before emerging on That Way St which takes us by the beautiful Shy Pond Park and into downtown Lake Jackson from the north.
